Dublin Irish Festival Returns July 31; $20 Tickets Still Available at Recreation Center Through July 30

For Dublin families, the most important Irish Festival ticket is no longer online: eligible residents can still buy a $20 one-day admission at the Dublin Community Recreation Center, avoiding the higher gate price before heading to Coffman Park. The 39th annual Dublin Irish Festival runs July 31 through Aug. 2 in Dublin.

The $20 online one-day ticket deadline passed July 18. Online one-day tickets now cost $25 through the festival's final day. But Dublin residents, military members, seniors 60 and older, and students can still purchase $20 one-day tickets at the Dublin Community Recreation Center through July 30 with valid identification.

For a family of four with two adults and two children older than 11, buying four Recreation Center tickets would cost $80 total — $20 less than the current $100 online price and $40 less than $120 in gate admissions at $30 per ticket.

Weekend passes are available online for $50 through Aug. 1, covering all three festival days for the price of two regular online single-day tickets — the lowest per-day cost at $16.67 for families planning multiple days. Festival hours are Friday, July 31, from 4 p.m. to midnight; Saturday, August 1, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, August 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Children 11 and under are admitted free and do not require a ticket, but must have a wristband to play in the Pot O' Gold Playland. Pot O' Gold Playland wristbands cost $15 online and $20 onsite. The Family Pack — two one-day admission tickets plus two Playland wristbands — cost $55 through July 18 and increased to $70 starting July 19. Even at $70, the package bundles two adult admissions and two wristbands for less than buying components separately at current prices.

Group tickets are available for $17 per person for groups of 30 or more people.

Sunday admission is free for guests who arrive between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on August 2, though limited experiences are available during that time. The festival encourages guests arriving during the free Sunday window to bring non-perishable food items or cash donations for the Dublin Food Pantry.

General admission provides access to all seven music stages and more than 800 performers, Highland Games and Stones of Strength competitions, sheep herding and Celtic Canines demonstrations, a genealogy tent, and more than 90 food and shopping vendors — with no additional per-activity fees beyond optional Playland wristbands.

The festival expects more than 90,000 attendees at Coffman Park. Dublin residents have until July 30 to secure $20 one-day tickets at the Recreation Center with valid identification.
