Cardinal Health's Fiscal 2026 Results Do Not Include New 700-Job Dublin Expansion
Cardinal Health posted $254.2 billion in full-year revenue and 37% EPS growth, but its 700-job Dublin expansion dates to 2007 and it is now trying to sell that campus.

For residents hoping to find work for themselves, a neighbor or an adult child, there are no newly announced job titles, qualifications or pay levels to assess.
The 700-job figure dates to Oct. 3, 2007, when Cardinal Health announced a West Campus expansion. The 250,000-square-foot facility was intended to house the company's Healthcare Supply Chain Services sector and was completed in spring 2009.
Cardinal Health is now attempting to divest the property. The company signed an agreement to sell its West Campus Dublin office space on May 24, 2024, and classified the related assets as held for sale as of June 30, 2024. Dublin City Schools entered a non-binding letter of intent with Cardinal Health in March 2024 to evaluate purchasing the West Campus building at 7200 Cardinal Place for potential educational use, but the school district withdrew in January 2025 after zoning and planning issues.
The distinction matters because Cardinal Health's financial performance is strong enough that residents could reasonably expect it to produce local growth. The company reported fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $63.7 billion, up 6% year over year, while full-year revenue reached $254.2 billion, up 14%. Adjusted non-GAAP earnings were $2.91 per share for the fiscal fourth quarter, up 40% year over year and above the consensus estimate of $2.42 per share.
"The anchor to the story for both the quarter and the fiscal year was broad-based and strong volume demand across the enterprise," Jason Hollar, CEO of Cardinal Health, said.
"We grew operating earnings 30% in the quarter and 30% on the year. We grew EPS by 40% in the quarter and 37% on the year," Hollar said.
"In addition to the outstanding P&L performance, the company generated $5 billion in adjusted free cash flow for the year," Hollar said.
Cardinal Health also issued fiscal year 2027 guidance projecting adjusted earnings of $12.40 to $12.60 per share, implying 13% to 15% growth.
The company remains a major Dublin employer. Its headquarters are at 7000 Cardinal Place, and workforce databases show Cardinal Health employs approximately 2,925 people in Dublin. Worldwide, Cardinal Health employed approximately 64,121 people as of March 2026.
But the company's recently announced facility growth is taking place elsewhere. On Sept. 30, 2025, Cardinal Health said it would build a new flagship pharmaceutical distribution center in Indianapolis, Indiana, expected to be fully operational by fall 2027 and create more than 100 new jobs.
For Dublin job seekers, the takeaway is practical: Cardinal Health's strong results matter for one of the city's largest employers, but they do not translate into 700 new positions residents can apply for. The West Campus promise attached to that figure dates to 2007; the building tied to it is surplus space the company is seeking to sell.
